August Seasonal Letter


Thanks so very much to all the seasonals that helped us out on the 4th of July holiday. We could not have done all that work with out you.

Matt and Vickie Covington would like to thank everyone that bought tenderloins and foot long hot dogs in support of the “Three precious Angles Scholarship Fund”. They raised $1210.00.

The corn hole tournament went quit well. If you would like to participate in another one please let Mr.Rickabaugh (site 5) know.

The Car show was a great time thanks so much to the Noel-Beeman Family for your efforts. If you have any pictures

Unfortunately, within the pass month we have had a problem with fire wood coming up missing. We have had a few complaints from seasonals . But mostly the problem occurs when a weekend camper leaves wood on a site at the end of their stay or when wood is left outside on the new property. Please do not remove any thing from a site (that in not yours)or on new property.
Any questions or concerns on this matter get with Ron or Jane.

Here’s what we have going on in August:

14th -11:00-2:00-back to school party-meet at the beach- we will serve lunch the kids will play games and be able to participate in boat races (if you want your child to participate in the water activties please have an adult on the beach to watch them) at the end of the party your child will receive some school supply’s –there will be a sign in sheet in the office-please make sure your child’s name get on the sheet by Friday August 6th If you would like to donate school supplies- please do so at the office

2:30pm – bike race meet at site 134
3:15pm -Golf cart race –meet at new property

Reminders: For the month of September
4th – Saturday- is Casino night Janice (site 19) and Sheryl (site 67) over this if you would like to help out or have any questions please get with them.

5th – Sunday- Trish-Angie will have a water party for the kids-starts at noon behind the white building- if anyone has extra water guns- or a slip n slide we can use please get with Angie.

Also the girls scout troop #3018 will be selling –hot dogs – walking tacos -
and Lemon shake ups at the same time as the water party
